Tod Leonard Kimberling was from Ogallala, Nebraska. Tod has been battling cancer for the last 3 years. He passed away October 6, 2026, at Ogallala Hospital.

Tod was the third child of Vinton and Fauniel (Greim) Kimberling of Champion, NE. He was born on December 22, 1962, in Imperial, NE. He grew up on the Kimberling (Vinton and Harriet) farm. He attended Champion Grade School and Chase County High School. As a kid, Tod enjoyed a lot of time with Granny (Mary) Kimberling and siblings, taking picnics and fishing at Nolans and at Champion Lakes.

Upon graduating, Tod was employed on the family farm where his son Tyler was born. After Tyler's birth, they moved to Colorado starting a plumbing business. Later, Tod moved to Ogallala, NE where he continued running a plumbing business. While living in Ogallala, Tod dearly loved and enjoyed "after hours" life: cookouts and parties with very special and cherished friends.

When his son Tyler was a child, the weekends were filled with camping, jet skiing, and other things during their visit. Weekends always ended too fast.

Tod is survived by son, Tyler (Celeste) Kimberling of Anchorage, Alaska; four precious grandchildren, Jayce, Dustin, Axel, and Athena; sister, Starla (John) Vogt; brother Tim (Barb) Kimberling; nephews and nieces, John (Gail) ,Geoff and Brandon Vogt, Sawyer Kimberling, and Janae (Brian) Gertsch; plus 13 great nieces and nephews.

Tod was preceded in death by his parents.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Liewer Funeral Home, Imperial, NE. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM. Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Crete Cemetery (Pleasant View) Champion, NE.
