Ruth Dizmang
Ruth Louella (Dilka) Dizmang was born February 18, 1963, to Patricia (Pat) and Howard Dilka in Sterling, Colorado. Patricia later married Stan Null and Stan became Ruth’s stepfather. Ruth attended school in Imperial, Nebraska, and graduated from Chase County High School in 1982.
On October 30, 1983, Ruth married John Dizmang in Wyoming and the couple first settled in Wauneta. Ruth and John later moved to Imperial where Ruth worked as a retail clerk at T-Junction.
Ruth enjoyed crafting and helping her family and friends, she was always taking care of someone. Ruth especially loved spending time with her family. Ruth passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial, Nebraska. She was 60 years of age.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents: Patricia Null and Howard Dilka; stepfather: Stan Null; son: Dustin Dizmang; brother: Anthony Dilka; and her grandparents: Ruth and Earl Franklin.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Desiree Loeffler and husband Craig of Imperial, NE.
Grandchildren: Kassidy Loeffler, Tondarae Francis, Alan Loeffler and Alex Loeffler.
Great-Grandchildren: Issac Loeffler, Riley Francis, Winston and Wylder Loeffler.
Sisters: Tabitha (Dan) Borgman of Pine Bluff, WY.
Tracy Hackney of Culbertson, NE.
Stannette (Wayne) Spickelmier of Faith, SD.
Dianna Strecker of Colorado.
Brother: Chuck Dilka of Cambridge, NE.
Brother-in-law: Barry Hackney of Wauneta, NE.
Nieces and Nephews: Ashley Gartzke, Kaylee Hackney, Caige Hackney, Miles Spickelmier, Ty Spickelmier, Bauner Borgman, Alli Borgman, Austin Dilka, William Strecker, and Patrick Strecker.
Graveside funeral services for Ruth will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, 2:00 p.m. (MT), at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, Nebraska, with Rev. Matt Dupeire officiating.
A memorial, In Ruth’s memory, has been suggested to the Loeffler Family for a future designation.
