Marilyn O'Neil

A longtime resident of rural Wauneta passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair, Nebraska. Marilyn was 77 years of age. Marilyn’s loves in life were her late husband Donald of 56 years, family, cattle, cards, and her friends. She especially loved her time watching her grandkids in their activities and her time spent traveling.
 
 Survivors include children; Sandra Reinke and husband, Doug, of Imperial, NE; Kathleen Misfeldt and husband, Marty, of Blair, NE; Shaun O’Neil and wife, Mindy, of Brighton, CO; Shannon O’Neil and wife, Sandy, of Wauneta, NE; grandchildren: Skylar Reinke of Imperial, NE; Mitchel Misfeldt (Melissa) of Prairie Village, KS; Avery Misfeldt (Jonn Penke) of Blair, NE; Madeline Vancura (Devon) of Wood River, NE; Bo O’Neil of Hastings, NE; Ella O’Neil of Wauneta, NE; and Tyler O’Neil of Wauneta, NE; brother Keith Roschewski and wife, Dwana, of Benkelman, NE; uncle LeRoy Haarberg of Wauneta, NE; brother-in-law Ron O’Neil and wife, Nancy, of Wauneta, NE; sisters-in-law Mary Carman of Imperial, NE, and Patti Fanning, of Wauneta, NE. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.
 
 As per Marilyn’s wishes, cremation was chosen with graveside services held at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta, NE on April 19 at 1:00 p.m. (Mountain Time).
 
 A memorial, in Marilyn’s memory, has been suggested to the O’Neil family for a future designation.
