LeRoy Haarberg of rural Wauneta, NE was born at home May 29th, 1933 and passed away at that same home on May 4th, 2026 at the age of 92. LeRoy had lived there all of his life except the 2 years that he served in the Army during the Korean War.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife Shirley of 58 ½ years, daughter, LeAnn Haarberg, parents Dick and Lena Haarberg, parents-in-laws Clyde and Letha Murray, sister, Mildred Roschewski & husband Eldon, sister, Eileen Martel, her second husband, Rusty & her first husband, Louis Clay. Brother-in-laws, Richard Murray, Jerry Murray, Gary (Tom) Murray, sister-in-law Phyllis Tuttle, Barbara Ciskey, and Patricia Schlesener.

He is survived by brother-in-law, Ronald Murray, sister-in-law, Kathy Lestrange, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service is planned to honor LeRoy's life and legacy.
