Larry Luhrs Rose of Enders Nebraska passed away at home on March 11, 2024, at the age of 82.
Larry was born November 15, 1942, and raised in Imperial NE by his parents Carmen and Darl Rose. He attended school in Imperial and among many activities, earned his Boy Scout Eagle Badge. He graduated from Chase County High in 1961 and joined the US Coast Guard. After his stint in the Coast Guard, he returned to the family farm near Enders and married Linda D. Stock on February 13, 1967. From this union, three children were born: Christine (Michael) Mies of Garden Plain, KS, Anthony Rose of Enders, and Michelle Bohlender of Tucson, AZ. Also survived by brothers-in-law Neil Stock and Rick Kitzman.
Larry was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. He was a volunteer for Imperial EMT for over 20 years. His hobbies included photography , model trains, and camping.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 16 10:30 A.M. (Mountain Time) with viewing one hour prior to service at Liewer Funeral Home, Imperial NE with Melody Newman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.
Memorial contributions may be made to McCook Community Healthcare & Hospice.
