Ellen Arlene Cady was born on January 22nd, 1942 to Edward Virgil and Pearl Opal (Stoumbaugh) Cady in Imperial, Nebraska. She attended school in Imperial and lived there her entire life. Ellen’s poor health made it difficult for her to work outside her home, but she had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed reading and listening to music and the radio. Ellen enjoyed the company of friends and family and was especially fond of her animals; owning both dogs and cats in her lifetime.

Ellen passed away early Thursday morning, February 28th, 2019 at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home. She was 77 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, E Virgil and Frank Cady and infant sister, Shirleen Ann Cady.

Survivors include:
Friend: Joel Vansteenberg of Imperial, Nebraska
Nephews: Jim Cady and wife, Cindy and Jack Cady and wife, Nona all of Blue Springs, Missouri
Several great-nephews

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. (MT), Tuesday morning, March 5th, 2019 at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial with Pastor Melody Newman officiating. A private family burial will take place after services.

Viewing will be prior to services the morning of services at the Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established in Ellen’s name.
