Dan Garrison   Danny Clay Garrison Sr. was born on August 6, 1944, to John T. and Sally M. (Martin) Garrison in Greeley, Colorado. Dan attended school as a young man in Denver, Colorado, and worked for his father’s commercial painting company. Dan married Dorene Mae Clay on September 22, 1963, and to this union four children were born: Kevin, Curt, Debbie, and Danny Jr.   Dan and Dorene settled in Englewood, Colorado, where Dan continued working for his father’s company, before making Imperial, their home in 1979. Dan worked as a ranch hand for a short time before becoming employed at the Frenchman Valley Coop, retiring in 2004.   Dan’s passion was for fishing and hunting.   Dan passed away Thursday afternoon, April 3rd, 2014, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial, NE. He was 69 years of age.   Survivors Include: Wife: Dorene of Imperial, NE Sons: Kevin Garrison and wife, Deb, of Elkhorn, NE           Curt Garrison of Elkhorn, NE 7 Grandchildren: Rachel Garrison, Jordan Garrison, Sarah Fanning, Nicole Garrison, Tyler Andahl, Justin Garrison, andGarret Andahl Brother: John Garrison and wife, Delores, of Las Vegas, NV   Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bill and Buddy Garrison, son; Danny Jr., daughter-In-Law; Petra, and daughter; Deb Andahl.   Graveside Services  will be held Monday morning, April 7th, 2014,  11:00 A.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery ,Imperial,  with Pastor David Kahle officiating.   Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, April 6th, 2014, 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Imperial   A memorial has been established in Dan’s memory.   On line condolences can be left at liewerfuernalhome.com   LIEWER FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS
