Bonnie Irene Schultz was born on December 17, 1925, to Millard Bryan and Ethel Ellen (Bressie) Smith in rural Chase County. As a young lady she attended country grade school and graduated from Chase County High School in 1943.

Bonnie married Eldon Grantham and the couple settled on the Bryan Smith Farm east of Imperial. They moved to several different locations including Venango, Nebraska, and Greeley, Colorado, before Bonnie returned to Chase County.

Bonnie married Raymond R. Schultz on August 9th, 1968, and the coupled settled and farmed east of Imperial, Nebraska. In retirement, Bonnie and Raymond moved to a new home in Imperial.

Bonnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Imperial. She enjoyed gardening, picture painting, raising flowers, and dancing, in her younger years.

Bonnie passed away, Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial. She was 94 years of age.

Grantham, Christopher Grantham, and Kelly Johnson.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Eldon and Raymond, daughter; Trudy (Grantham) Gorsuch, brothers, Vilasand Calvin Smith


Funeral services for Bonnie Schultz will be held Wednesday afternoon, November 11, 2020 2:00 P.M. at Liewer Funeral Home, Imperial, NE, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.

Visitation will be held before services, Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, starting at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

A memorial has been suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Imperial, NE.
