Robert Dean Kitt was born March 13, 1934, to Kenneth V. and Erma (Lorance) Kitt in rural Chase County, Nebraska.
Bob married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Ann Newman, on October 12, 1952, and the couple began the dream of owning their own farm and raising a family.
Bob passed away Tuesday morning, December 17, 2019, at the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center in Wauneta, NE. He was 85 years of age.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Pat, shortly after celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2014.
Survivors Include:
Daughter: Annette K. (Mike) Forney of Castle Rock, CO
Sons: Kenneth L. Kitt of Wauneta, NE
Ronald G. (Orla) of Ogallala, NE
6 Grandchildren
8 Great-Grandchildren
Special Friends: Kip and Terry Engell
“The Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren will greatly miss their loving Grandpa, his homemade ice cream, and caramels.”
A private family celebration of life has been planned at a later date.
