Obituary

Adrian Scott Ashmore passed away on December 10, 2025 surrounded by his family. Adrian was born on May 27, 1981 to Glen and Janet (Wilson) Ashmore in Holyoke, CO.

Adrian attended Lamar grade school, in Lamar, NE later transferring to Imperial, ultimately graduating from Chase County High School, class of 2000.

Adrian was a true sports enthusiast, the kind of fan who not only watched the games but immersed himself in the stats, stories, and every headline. Football held a special place in his heart, but his love for sports stretched far beyond a single field. His loyalty ran deep: he was a passionate Huskers fan through and through, and he cheered wholeheartedly for the Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, and Denver Broncos. For Adrian, sports weren’t just entertainment, they were a source of excitement, connection, and joy.

Adrian was also a proud, lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, having been confirmed on April 28, 1996. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Adrian is survived by his parents, his brother, Thomas; nieces, MaKenna (Korbin) and Braelyn Ashmore; his uncles, Ray (Celeste) Wilson, and Rodney (Rosie) Ashmore; his aunt, Vickie Wettstein; and his great nephew Riptyn. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles, Ken Wettstein and Lyle Ashmore; and his brother, Randy Ashmore.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.

A memorial service to honor Adrian’s life will be held at a later date.
