Wayne Sharp
Wayne Omer Sharp was born August 18, 1920, at Imperial, Nebraska, to Claude LeRoy and Pearl May (Flory) Sharp. He attended grade school at Enders, NE, and graduated from Chase County High School in 1939. Wayne married Lois Maxine Forsyth on April 20, 1944, in Beatrice, NE., and the couple settled on a farm near Enders, NE, where they lived and farmed for many years. Wayne was a hard working farmer, a dedicated and loving father and grandfather, a simple man of few words. Wayne passed away Sunday evening, January 9th, 2011, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial. He was 90 years of age.
Wayne was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Enders, NE., where he was a church deacon. He was a farm Bureau member and an avid sports fan. He was very involved with his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. He belonged to a bowling league and attended many Husker Football games.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lois in 1992, 4 Children: Cynthia Louise Sharp, Larry Wayne Sharp, Keith Allen Sharp, Sarah Ann Sharp. One grandson; Samuel Dean Hoffman.

Grandchildren: Jenny and Terri Messerer, Troy Newman, Tab and wife, Misty Newman, Sid and wife, Teresa Peterson, Russ Peterson, Eric and wife, Chris Peterson, Angela and Husband Ty Fickenscher, Sarah and Husband, Levi Mason, Julia and Husband, Celso Santillan, Jeremy Hoffman, Alex and Jared Sharp.
Great-Grandchildren: Jeremy Marrero, Zachery Newman, Brie and Parker Newman, Luke Peterson, Samantha Peterson, Mercedes Peterson, Joseph, Maxine, and Krystal Fickenscher, Mariam amd Titus Mason

Funeral Services for Wayne Sharp will be held Friday morning, January 14, 2011, 10:30 A.M. (MT) at the Church of the Brethren, Enders, NE, with Rev. Francis Baker and John Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial
Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2011, 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. (MT) at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established in Wayne’s memory.
