Tim Lines
Timmy Scott Lines was born July 1, 1954, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Lester and Darleen (Pummel) Lines. Tim graduated from Chase County High School with the class of 1972. After high school, he worked for Coors in Golden, Colorado with his uncles; Jim Pummel and Con Eagan. Tim was employed as an over the road truck driver for a short time before becoming a heavy equipment operator for many years.
Tim was a great sportsman and water lover. He enjoyed fishing and scuba diving, and spent lots of time at Lake McConaughy. He had just taken his mother Darleen, to Lake McConaughy last Saturday. He loved to ski, both water and snow, and skied once with a cast on one leg. Tim was a rodeo fan and was a bull rider after High School. He spent many happy hours riding his beloved motorcycle.
Tim passed away Friday, April 8th, 2011, at the Dundy County Hospital, Benkelman, NE. He was 56 years of age.
Survivors include: Mother: Darleen Lines of Imperial, NE Brother: Les Lines of Imperial, NE Sister: Starla O’Neil and Husband, Tom, of Lincoln, NE Nephew: Skye Companion: Pam Newton Many relatives and friends
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lester, and grandparents: Ulysses and Eva Lines, Perry and Minnie Pummel
Graveside Inurnment services for Tim Lines will be held Tuesday afternoon, April 12th, 2011, 1:30 P.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, with Rev. Brent Harwerth officiating.
No Visitation, Tim Chose cremation
A memorial has been established in Tim’s memory.
