Marjorie E. (Claus) Goddard was born August 14, 1924, in Orleans, Nebraska, to Louis and Pauline (Cyprian) Claus.
Marjorie married Jess Goddard on May 10, 1946. The couple lived in Imperial. To this union two sons were born: Greggory and Kent.
Marjorie owned and operated Marjie’s Beauty Shop in her home. After retiring, she and Jess enjoyed traveling in their motor home. They especially enjoyed spending their winters in Florida. Marjorie passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, at the Imperial Manor. She was 86 years of age.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her husband Jess of Imperial, sons Greggory and wife Darlene of Omaha, NE and Kent of Tampa, FL; grandson Garry Goddard and wife Stacy and children Jessica and Creighton of Olathe, KS; granddaughter Teena Keslar and husband Matt and children Alyssa and Issac of Lincoln, NE; step-granddaughter Kendra Hill and husband Dan and children Adam, Joel, and Arron of Omaha, NE; and several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
Graveside inurnment will be held at an announced later date.
No visitation, Marjorie chose cremation.
