James "Jim" Wagner

James Paul Wagner was born April 30, 1956, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Fred J. and Hazel (Hedges) Wagner. Jim was baptized in Imperial and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland, Colorado. As a youngster he attended Imperial Grade School and Loveland Public School. At age 16, Jim became a licensed locksmith, working in Loveland. He later returned to Imperial where he was employed as a maintenance man for Sunset and Sunrise Apartments. Jim felt at home at Sunset and considered the residents there his family. He enjoyed helping friends and neighbors.
Jim passed away Friday morning, October 29, 2010, at the Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala, Nebraska. He was 54 years of age.
Jim was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial. He loved photography and working on computers.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Fred J. Wagner.
Survivors Include: Mother: Hazel Wagner of Imperial, NE Brother: Jesse Martin and wife, Linda, of Sutherland, NE Brother: Floyd Wagner and wife, Dana, of Grand Junction, CO. Brother: Lynn Wagner, of Loveland, CO. Nieces and Nephews: Gwen Wagner, Gabe Wagner, Aaron Martin and wife Carolee, Matt Martin and wife Alicia, Darcey Kramer and husband Jared, Erik Martin, and Thom Martin and wife Jill. Numerous Great nieces and nephews and friends
Memorial Services for Jim Wagner will be held Tuesday morning, Nov. 2, 2010, 11:00 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
No Visitation, Jim chose cremation
A memorial has been established to the Imperial Public Library
