Evelyn Marie Reiman

Evelyn Marie Hisey Reiman, 87, of Benkelman died Wednesday (January 8, 2020) at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman.
She was born in Lenora, KS to Earl and Edna Hisey and attended high school in Hill City, KS.
After school she waited tables in Norton, KS until she moved to Benkelman in 1967. She worked at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in the laundry department until 1971.
On February 13, 1971 she was united in marriage to Wilbur Reiman and to this union, a daughter, Ann was born. Wilbur and Evelyn also renewed their vows in 2003 in the Catholic Church. In 1977 she returned to work at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home as a nursing assistant.
She retired in 2003. In 2011, she entered the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home and lived there until her death.
During her life she enjoyed attending country music concerts with friends, listening to country music and watching westerns. Evelyn also enjoyed bowling and went to state bowling several times.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; brothers Alvin, Galen, and Lyle Hisey.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Reiman of Oklahoma City, OK.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
No viewing; cremation was chose.
A memorial has been established to the Family of Evelyn for future designation.
