Chad Wilcox
Chad Michael Wilcox was born on July 5th 1969, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He passed away at age 49 at the Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Hospital in Denver Colorado on Monday, February 25, 2019.
The family moved a lot while growing up but Chad spent his preschool years in Montana & Wyoming. Most of his school years were completed in Madison, South Dakota, where the family moved in the early 70s. He completed his high school years in Windsor, CO. Chad loved to play football & was an excellent addition to his high school teams. He also enjoyed hunting & fishing with his younger brother & dad, sometimes got the chance to go with his grandpa Wilcox.
After high school, Chad spent some time working different jobs until he focused in on construction. In 1996 he married Suzanne Giorgione & they had three children. They moved to Culbertson, Nebraska in 1997 where Chad worked with construction companies & as an independent contractor. He loved to work with his hands & enjoyed building anything someone had asked. Chad later moved to Stratton, Nebraska, and started woodworking with his grandpa. He was very talented in making a lot of different things with wood. He also enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his dogs, family and friends. In addition to the fishing & hunting, Chad spent a lot of free time with loved ones boating & just being together. He loved his family, especially his children. Chad was a very kind & loving dad, son, brother, uncle, & friend. He was loved by many.

His Children: Giuseppe Wilcox, Montana Wilcox, and Adelina Wilcox
His Grandchildren: Gianni Wilcox and Pietro Wilcox
His Parents: Chuck (dad) and Coleen Wilcox, and Brendell (mom) and Richard Jeffers
His Siblings: Andrea (sister) and Kerry Bayne, Jory (brother) and Gail Wilcox
Step Siblings: Marsha and Luke Kesselring, Melissa and Chris Maris, Michael Mckain
Nephews and Nieces: Ashley and Chandler Kost, Austen Bayne, Dawson Wilcox, Emily Wilcox, Avory Maris, Halee Maris, and Kyndell Kesselring
Pets: Tazzy and Athena
Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents Gerald & Lily Wilcox, grandparents Harvey & Iona Waagmeester, aunt Kathy Castro, & aunt Carolyn Hood.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning March 16, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. (CT) at the United Methodist Church of Stratton, NE, with Pastor Rod Heilburn officiating.
