Carol J. Robb, 81, longtime Imperial resident, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Bridge Care Suites in Springfield, Illinois.
Carol was born on October 18, 1940, in Grainton, NE, the daughter of Everett and Mildred (Hannigan) Martin. Carol married James “Jim” Robb on May 14, 1955, in Denver, CO. He preceded her in death in 2009.
Carol and Jim owned and operated Robb’s Sales & Service in Imperial from 1972 to 2010 and were well-known in the community. Carol was involved in various card-playing groups. She dearly loved her family and was always a friendly, warm person people enjoyed talking to and being around.
Carol was also preceded in death by her parents Everett and Mildred Martin; sister Patricia Robb; son Timothy Robb; and daughter Shelly Monahan.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Teresa Miller of Dunnellon, FL.
Grandchildren: Brooke (Tito) Rivera of Dunnellon, FL; Samantha (David) Howell of Spokane, WA; Emily (Drew) Tavernor of Springfield, IL; and Jessica Robb of Spokane, WA.
Siblings: Sharon McCulloch, Gary, Jim, Larry and Dan Martin, Kathy Watkins, and Sandra Foster.
Great-grandchildren: Ariana and Desmond Tavernor .
Carol elected to be cremated in Illinois.
Memorial services for Carol will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10:30 a.m. (MT), at the First United Methodist Church in Imperial, Nebraska, with Pastor Debra Copple and Randy Hayes officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, NE.
Memorials, In Carol's memory, have been suggested to the Robb Family for a future designation.
