    Boyce Warning

    October 22, 1922 - April 5, 2015

    Boyce Warning Boyce Eugene Warning was born to Martin and Jennie (Smith) Warning in Dundy County, Nebraska on October 22, 1922. He was united in marriage to Shirley L. Prideux on March 18, 1944 in Oberlin, Kansas. The couple made homes in Bird City, Kansas, Benkelman, Nebraska and on the family farm south of Max, Nebraska. Boyce held various odd jobs including being a mechanic, farming and picking peaches. He spent the majority of his life, however, working on and running the family farm. Boyce was a member of the Stratton Church of Christ and liked to spend time fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed refinishing furniture, going to auctions and spending time with family. Boyce passed away Sunday afternoon, April 5th, 2015, at the Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman, NE. He was 92 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Jennie Warning; his wife, Shirley; son, Charles and sister, Vera Clark. Survivors Include: Daughter: Connie Bunning and husband, Jack, of Stapleton, NE Son: Kyle and wife, Gloria, of Elwood, NE Son: Delbert of Atwood, KS Daughter: Tamara Hinton and husband, Laurence of North Platte, NE Son: Darwin and wife, Carole, of Benkelman, NE Daughter: Regina Lauby and husband, Justin, of Elwood, NE Son: Keith and wife, Tonya, of Hayden, CO. 21 Grandchildren: Brenda Deibert, Laura (Joel) Gay, Lana (Todd) McCain, Melanie (Mike) Seegers, Michelle Hosman, Justin (Tiffany) Warning, Craig (Shari) Hearon, Mikel (Lesley) Clark, Casey (Jennifer) Warning, Savannah Warning, Tyler (Tracee) Hinton, Bryce (Robin) Hinton, Kaylin Hinton, Levi Armstrong, Kayla Bently, Brandy Warning, Taylor (Hunter) Ertz, Blake Summer, Allie Lauby, Amanda Warning and Lacey Warning. 23 Great-Grandchildren: Alan Deibert, Andrew and Audrey Gay, Bailey and Austin Seegers, Tanner and Sydne McCain, Nicole, Dana and Carly Hearon, Hadley, Brook and Easton Clark, Peighton, Kinlee and Jace Hinton, Havelynn Bentley, McKenna and Luke Hosman, Lindsay, Wyatt and Jordyn Warning Funeral Services will be held Thursday Morning, April 9th, 2015. 10:30 A.M. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building, 908 Huron Street, Benkelman, NE., with Randy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon, April 8th, 2015, 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building, 908 Huron Street, Benkelman, NE. Memorials have been established to the Benkelman Senior Center and the Dundy County Hospital.
