Anthony Shopp

March 13, 1965 — July 30, 2022

Anthony Shopp, of Estes Park, Colorado passed away on July 30, 2022. He was born on March 13, 1965, in Imperial, Nebraska. His father, Bryce Shopp preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother Wanda Shopp of Palm Desert, California, sister, Alexsis Jones of Littleton, Colorado, and five brothers; Charles and his wife, Jamie Shopp of Casper, Wyoming, Shannon Shopp of Houston, Texas, Reagan and his wife, Angela Shopp of Parker, Colorado, Adrian Shopp of Denver, Colorado, and Jade and his wife, Masa Shopp of Los Angelas, California. Anthony was a dedicated son of Bryce and Wanda, and uncle to nieces and nephews; Miles, Gentri, Connor, Cayden, Javen, Canyon, and Katelyn.

Anthony grew up in Imperial and graduated from Chase County High School in 1983. He then attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where he became a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and graduated with a degree in Chemistry in 1987.

Anthony was successful in many different career paths beginning with managing Big 5 Sporting Goods in Palm Desert, California, and most recently as a Senior Executive Recruiter for LHH Recruitment Solutions in Denver, Colorado for the last 20 years. His career in corporate recruiting began local and quickly expanded across the country as executives recognized his talents for identifying qualified candidates.

Anthony enjoyed hunting with friends and family, and was a member of the Casper Skeet Club, and the Lincoln Trap & Skeet Club. His love and passion for his two Labrador retrievers, Willie and Floyd, put a smile on his face during every hunt, and every field training event. Anthony loved the fresh air of a ride on his Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycles. He will be greatly missed at the Sturgis rally this year.

Anthony was known for his firm and friendly handshake, outgoing personality, and cherished his time with his friends and family. He was an avid football fan from his early days playing football for the Chase County Longhorns - to attending nearly every home Husker football game as a season ticket holder. He valued his faith in the Lord, and always put family first. Anthony was deeply loved by all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly.
