Alma "Agatha" Brandt

Alma “Agatha” Brandt, born June 8, 1919, in Unity, Saskatchewan, Canada to Otto and Alma Bowker Krausnick, passed away March 18, 2016 in Longview, Texas.
Mrs. Brandt liked to crochet, knit, quilt, and work word puzzles.
She was married to the father of her children Jim Thomas until his death, after which she married her second husband, John Brandt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, three brothers, Claude, Glenn and Verne Krausnick, daughter-in-law, Norma Gail Thomas, granddaughter, Kara Gail Thomas, son-in-law, Thomas W. Roys, and great-grandson, Zackary Jon Thomas.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Paul (Sondra) Thomas of Borger, Texas; daughter, Twila Roys of Longview, Texas; son, Verne (LuAn) Thomas of Iowa Park, Texas; daughter, Arlene Padilla of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Jimmy (Kaylia) Thomas; Melissa (John) True; Todd Roys; Tiffany (William) Smolter; Ashli (Jeremy) Lee; Jon (Crystal) Thomas; Heather (Justin) Priebe; Angie Padilla; and Sammy (Brandi) Padilla.
As well as 19 great grandchildren; her sister Myra Grimm, Wauneta, Nebraska and her ever loving and faithful companion, Molly.
Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, Nebraska June 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (Mountain Time).
No visitation; Agatha chose cremation.
After the services there will be a time of remembrance held at the Senior Center in Wauneta, Nebraska. Please come and share your memories about our “Mom” with us.
A Memorial has been established in her memory.
